O'zapft is!
It is Oktoberfest in Munich and just want to say happy drinking. Prost! Good time/ excuse to drink. Also get some soft prezels and mustard.
If you can, get some Oktoberfest Beer/ Marzen Beer, perferbly Hacker Pschor, Spaten, Hof Braeu, LowenBraeu, Pauliner.
Don't trust other brands for Oktoberfest beers. I do not trust a pastor preaching evolution, just like American brewery brewing Oktoberfest beer. It is just not the same.
Well just to wish you guys well and bottoms up.

My Beer List:
German Beer
Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest - Really rich and crisp. One of the best! A wheaty Marzen Beer
Hacker Pschorr Weisse- Really good and with a really good golden crisp. Taste score is 94 out of 100 Very Wheaty.
Spatan Oktoberfest- Really good but more bitter than Hacker Pschorr's Oktoberfest and less wheaty. Good for those who like a darker/ bitter beer
Lowenbraeu- Like Spatan, but a bit lighter, a good mild beer
Dinkle Achker- Also like Spatan, but even more bitter and heaver, good with heavery dishes.
Franziskaner- A really good hefeweisen or wheat beer. Really lite with a strong wheat taste. Goes well with lighter dishes like fish and sushi etc.
DAB- A light somewhat sweet beer that is like Heiniken but a richer lager taste.
Warsteiner- A really good rich amber beer. Very smooth crisp and refreshing tates. One of the cheapest German inports, at least in NJ.
Chinese Beer
Since I only find one brand of Chinese beer in the US, I will only talk about the one that is here.
History of Tsingtao Beer:
During the age of colonialism, the port city of Tsingtao was a Germany colony. The first thing the German brought to their new prize was not government or troops. It was a brewery. It brew beer under the German Law of Purity or Reinheitsgebot. Therefore Tsingtao is a non-german beer that is closest to German beer. Todaym they still brew the same beer since their first batch. Also Tsingtao use a special mineral water by the city which gives it a special sweetness to it.
Tsingtao Beer- Very Light, crisp and sweet beer. Not wheaty and a very refreshing beer.
